I have been impressed by the displays of generosity that I have witnessed over the last several weeks. From online fundraising for friends who are facing devastating news to volunteer efforts to bring much-needed supplies to our community’s most vulnerable populations. We are all facing uncertainties and worries, but when asked, we are stepping up to help.
Offering assistance to those in need, worthwhile causes, and the community is a great benefit to you, the volunteer. Giving to others protects your mental and physical health, it reduces stress, combats depression, keeps you mentally stimulated and provides a sense of purpose.
