Gov. Doug Ducey Announces Nearly $100 Million in Relief

More than half of the state’s licensed and certified childcare providers have closed their doors during COVID-19. As part of the CARES Act, $88 million is now available to support the reopening of childcare programs, provide care for children of essential workers and help parents manage school absences.

The state also expanded small business relief by $10 million to help business owners meet rent and mortgage obligations. The grant program will provide grants for up to two months of rent or mortgage payments due by small businesses including gyms, fitness centers, bars, and water parks with fewer than 50 employees.
