Common Sense Media Poll on Civic Engagement

A recent Common Sense Media poll that looked at civic engagement is raising questions about whether increased enthusiasm for voting in 18- to 29-year-olds will translate into voting in November.

Findings reveal many are skeptical their votes will be counted fairly and most don’t really know how to participate in the 2020 election. Despite that, nearly half said their interest in voting has increased.

Because social media plays such a big role, Common Sense researched how different platforms are handling the flood of videos, memes and hashtags — and how you can get the most out of social this election season.
