Confronting weaknesses and making them strengths

by The 100 Companies

My attention has always been scattered.

Had this been a topic of conversation when I was young, I probably wouldn’t have been spanked every day. At school.

On one occasion, the principal said, “You’re a fuzzy elephant.” When I told my mom, she called him for clarification.

“Mrs. Arnold, I called your son a disturbing element.” Which, in retrospect, I’m sure I was!

That said, being a disturbing element has been integral to my process; it makes me who I am – which, I’ve decided, is a strength.

Perspective can go a long way in how we view ourselves and others.
