Tribal gaming continues to impact the state

Contributions to the state from tribal gambling revenue will total more than $27 million for the quarter ending June 30. Arizona’s tribal communities make a commitment to contributing up to 8 percent of gross gambling revenue to the state, cities, towns and counties.

Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino in Maricopa, Arizona, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019, takes that commitment further by supporting community organizations that make an impact, including F.O.R. Maricopa; Phoenix Rescue Mission; American Cancer Society; Phoenix Children’s Hospital; Against Abuse Maricopa; United Way of Pinal County; Habitat for Humanity and the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
