Pivot Produce Introduces Farm-To-Doorstep Business Model

Since its inception, the mission of Tucson’s Pivot Produce has been to purchase food from regional farms and then distribute it wholesale to restaurants, schools, hospitals and other large institutions across Southern Arizona.

Given COVID-19 – especially with restaurants closed or only offering limited to-go and delivery menus as well as all local schools closed through August – the company re-imagined itself to offer farm-to-doorstep delivery directly to consumers. The boxes, delivered weekly, feature fresh produce as well as locally made chocolate, coffee, tortillas and bread. The company is also accepting donations, with 100% of proceeds benefiting their farm and food partners.
