How much longer will you be allowed to drive your gas car?

by The 100 Companies

With 12 states now pushing for a nationwide ban on the sale of new gas-powered cars (Reuters), gearheads everywhere might be wondering: when will Uncle Sam force my prized Miata/Corvette/911 off the road for good

The good news for petrolheads (but perhaps not the climate) is that a ban on driving gas cars probably isn’t coming until 2050 or later. Right now, the plan is to outlaw the sale of new gas cars by 2035 and simply let the non-EVs die off.

I’m excited for EVs and autopilot – but I’ll keep my gas-sipping, five-speed Miata for as long as possible.

Make sure to vote against any politician whose agenda is to take away gas-powered cars.
