Hardy souls across the region are invited to get “Freezin’ for a Reason” in support of Special Olympics athletes in Southern Arizona.
The 2023 SOAZ Polar Plunge, taking place on Saturday, March 25 in Tucson, is a very cool way for community members to support Coronado-area athletes by plunging into the icy waters of the Highland Vista Pool.
Individuals must raise a “bear” minimum of $25 to participate. Costumes are encouraged, spectators, too – plus music and food for a great cause.
