Asian Night Market debuts in Tucson

On Saturday, May 10, a one-night celebration of the Asian diaspora in Arizona will unfold during Tucson’s first-ever Asian Night Market from 6-10 p.m.

Head to the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center (1288 W River Road) for free entertainment from Korean Drumming by Sounds of Thunder, Polynesian Dance by Siva Maia, Thai Dance by Konnika Richards and Danesia Dechavaranon, K-pop Cover Dance by Underskore, plus a pair of live performances by TCCC Lion Dance Troupe.

Also on the menu: Asian fusion street eats, Japanese takoyaki and katsudon, Korean noodles, Taiwanese-style fried chicken and Hawaiian shave ice.
