Chamber urging travelers to fly Tucson first

by

Current estimates indicate that, on an annual basis, almost one million Southern Arizonans drive out of town to take flights from other airports.

In response, the “Fly Tucson First Pledge” was created.

The recent pledge is a community initiative of the Tucson Metro Chamber to bring Southern Arizona businesses and residents together in a cause to utilize the airport as often as possible, instead of flying from non-Tucson airports.

Doing so keeps money in the Tucson economy. It also encourages local public and private development, which in turn could bring more external business opportunities and revenue into Southern Arizona.
