In a recent study conducted by GoLastMinute, both Tucson (15) and Phoenix (28) were named among the top fastest-growing places to travel last-minute in 2020. The global ranking was determined based on the review of 150,000 last-minute flight searches on the site, with Mexico City; Sarasota, Fla.; Oklahoma City; Key West, Fla. and Myrtle Beach, Fla. among the top five.
When looking only at domestic travel and flights, in addition to those in the overall ranking, Sacramento, Calif.; Minneapolis-St. Paul; Oakland, Calif.; St. Louis, Austin and Indianapolis round out the top 10. Internationally, Mexico’s Puerto Vallarta and London joined Mexico City in top spots.
