In 1988, my father-in-law founded Batteries Plus. When asked about the key to his success, the answer was simple: Never sell batteries; always solve problems.

Thirty-six years later, this adage rings true in the insurance industry – which is why I’ve been working with every member of our staff to pivot how we do business.

My in-house process, one steeped with intention, aims to shift the paradigm from transactional to relational by bringing connection – not simply communication – to the business of selling legal contracts.

In other words, we are indeed in the business of solving problems (and have been since 1997).
