Reflecting on the ‘Misunderstood Mustang,’ the 3rd-generation Bullitt

by The 100 Companies

Back in 2019, Ford launched a highly limited – and obscenely cool – Mustang trim called the Bullitt. An homage to the Steve McQueen original, the Bullitt boasted numerous performance upgrades, a cueball shifter, heritage styling and more.

The result was the best Mustang I’ve ever driven; more powerful and unique than a regular GT, but cheaper and more livable than a GT350. Goldilocks’ Mustang, if you will.

But despite high reviews and overall rarity, Bullitts haven’t held their value. You can find a pristine used one for $38k or 25% less than a new, similarly-equipped GT. Trust me, they’re a steal.
