According to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, of the nearly 21 million veterans across the United States, more than 520,000 live in Arizona. There are over 275,000 in Maricopa County alone.
Honoring America’s Veterans mobilizes public support for our local veterans, connecting them with activities to recognize their service and help them heal.
This past November for Veteran’s Day, we partnered with the City of Phoenix to bring 10 floats and over 45,000 patriotic spectators to the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade. Since 1997, the parade has brought honor and recognition to the sacrifices veterans make for our country.
