British philosophical writer James Allen has my attention.
The self-help pioneer made a name for himself in1902 when he published “As a Man Thinketh,” declaring it “a pocket companion for thoughtful people.”
Allen’s premise, that a person’s thoughts have the power to shape their life, speaks to me – as do recent musings from Dr. Jafe Arnold (my oldest son), who wrote: Life is so much more than the fact of being alive, and being alive means so much more than the bare circumstance of living.
Given the chance, how would you change your current path? What would fuel the journey?
