A study from SmartAsset has named Scottsdale, Arizona, No. 1 on its list of U.S. cities where individuals most often work from home. At 14.4%, Scottsdale had almost 5% more employees working from home than other cities.
Also among the top 50 from Arizona are Gilbert at sixth, Chandler at ninth and Mesa at 21st. The ranking was developed by comparing the 100 largest U.S. cities across seven metrics, including percentage of employees working from home, five-year change in percentage of employees working from home, unemployment rate, poverty rate, housing costs and both coffee shop and bar density.
