Most people believe that the “Great Outdoors” in Arizona is just desert and the Grand Canyon. Did you know that Arizona has 22 national parks and two World Heritage sites? These national gems generate over 10 million visitors annually.
How many of these sites have you, an Arizonan, visited? I know I plan on visiting each one of them. As the heat rises in Arizona, remember to stay safe: plan your visits during cooler hours, take sunscreen and bring plenty of water. Know your physical limits and don’t overdo it.
