A vibrant intersection of Indigenous art, culture, music and food will descend upon the city Monday, Oct. 14 at Indigenous Peoples’ Day Phoenix Fest – an event aimed at amplifying Indigenous voices.
The event, hosted by Cahokia PHX in collaboration with various valley partners, seeks to provide immersive experiences that celebrate the diverse culture of Indigenous people.
The Arizona Center, situated on the ancestral lands of the O’odham and Piipaash people, will be transformed into a landscape boasting skateboarding and roller skating, an Indigenous Pop-up market, and food trucks and a town hall – brought to you by the Phoenix Indian Center.
