Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau endeavors to count each person residing in the country – a daunting task made even more complicated this year as a result of COVID-19. The census data helps determine how many seats each state will have in the U.S. House of Representatives. The information is used to decide how billions of dollars in federal, state and tribal funding are distributed.
Data collected establishes valuable statistics about our population and households, and the funding that is distributed helps support vital programs across the state. Visit www.my2020census.gov to fill out your questionnaire by Sept. 30.
