by
schoolchildren

In partnership with Phoenix Suns Charities, APS will be providing grants up to $2,500 to support kindergarten through high school teachers for STEM projects in the classroom. A total of up to $50,000 is available for the current school year.

Funding will be provided for projects that best encourage creativity and increase student motivation to learn. Successful proposals will promote exciting and innovative activities to motivate students and enhance their learning of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).

A workforce proficient in STEM skills is critical to retaining and attracting high-quality businesses and industries to the state.
