In a recent study tracking where Americans chose to move in 2019, Scottsdale, Ariz. ranked No. 1, with twice as many people moving in versus out throughout the year, while Florida was ranked as the most popular overall state.
Other findings: 62% of people moved to a place within their same county; one in six chose to find a new home across state lines; the top net-gain state was Idaho, with 48% more people moving into it than out of it; 20% of all moves in America happened on Saturday; and 35% of all moves took place in the summer.
