As 2024 concludes, I’ve reached an invaluable conclusion of my own – albeit one borrowed from the pages of Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People”: “A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.”
As I continue to seek to improve and evolve, I’ve come to recognize that directing invaluable energy (and oxygen) toward a topic that won’t shift is, for all intents and purposes, futile.
In the coming year, my wish for others is to focus on seeking alignment around where folks agree rather than dwelling on where they don’t.
