Prescott listed among 2019 places to visit and best-performing small cities

Though only a month into the new year, the city of Prescott has already gained some major recognition.

Making the list for the second year in a row, travel company Expedia has included Prescott among its 2019 “Cities That Must Be Seen” list, which notes that visitors can enjoy hiking trails, kayaking, mountain climbing and exceptional biking opportunities.

Prescott also made a repeat appearance on the Milken Institute’s list of “best performing small cities,” – moving up seven spots this year. The city ranked 26th out of 201, based on health care, tourism, manufacturing, high-tech sectors and housing-related elements.
