Oro Valley Innovation Labs (OVIL) is set to break ground Wednesday, Sept. 4, with tentative plans to open in March 2020. OVIL is working in close collaboration with the University of Arizona Center for Innovation Oro Valley (UACIOV) to accomplish this goal.
UACIOV will operate a business incubator in Innovation Park, near Roche Diagnostics (formerly Ventana Medical Systems), with the mission to support and conduct bioscience research and programs and provide space for educational and training programs for translational scientists.
The goal is to enable eight to 10 new life science startup companies to operate and thrive in southern Arizona.
