One Step Beyond, Inc. (OSBI) empowers adults who have intellectual disabilities to achieve independence, self-sufficiency and employment through innovative culinary, education, fitness and fine arts programs.
When the pandemic put a stop to in-person programming, the organization’s dedication and commitment spurred innovative virtual programming and enabled its participants to stay engaged and avoid regression. Among the many virtual programs is the Guest Speaker Series, providing participants an opportunity to socialize and network with friends and staff while interacting with influential members of the community who share personal and professional stories of hope and offer tips and encouragement for the future.
