Northern Arizona University’s (NAU) students, faculty and graduates are responsible for generating over $2.6 billion annually for the Arizona economy, according to a study.

Beyond that, the study reports that over 100,000 current alumni still reside in Arizona, and 24,000 total jobs are supported by the university via its campuses and programs across the state.

Currently, there are more than 31,000 students enrolled at NAU between its main campus in Flagstaff, Ariz., community campuses across Arizona and online programming.

NAU is a key contributor to the attainment goal of 60% of Arizonans having a certificate or college degree by 2030.
