Movember promotes men’s health

by The 100 Companies

If you see a usually clean-shaven friend or co-worker who seems to be growing a mustache over the next 30 days, there might be a good reason for it.

Established in 2003, Movember, also known as No-Shave November, is a global movement that encourages men to grow out their facial hair all month to raise awareness for men’s health, focusing on mental health and suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer.

To date, over 5 million people have participated worldwide – even women – and now, the movement’s goal is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25 percent by 2030.
