Do you believe that, to some extent, people are born with a fixed amount of talent, intelligence, creativity and charm? This means you may have a fixed mindset.
And while those who have this mindset usually believe the fixed qualities in themselves and others are exceptionally high, the disposition often means the person requires an inordinate amount of praise regularly, including at work. The problem with this is that all too often; those with a fixed mindset begin surrounding themselves with those who heap on the praise, eventually risking group think and yes men, which are never good for business.
