The latest “shocking” announcement from Tesla: the axing of its supercharger team. Tesla secured a massive lead in the EV Cold War with its enviable supercharger network, but now it seems willing to give it up entirely.
Why? A renewed focus on autonomy. “If somebody doesn’t believe Tesla is going to solve autonomy,” the eccentric billionaire stated, “I think they should not be an investor in the company.”
