Growing food and community in Tucson

by The 100 Companies

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is helping local residents get a leg up on the growing season with a chance to raise some of their own food.

Purchase plants and pick-up seeds in Tucson at Nuestra Tierra Learning Garden, an educational green space connecting community members with resources to care for their own gardens, located at 3003 S. Country Club Rd.

The nonprofit’s Farm & Garden programs strive to empower community members to grow, learn and become leaders who advocate for a more just food system – part of the ongoing effort to make fresh, healthy food accessible to all.
