Eviation Aircraft, an all-electric aircraft manufacturer, has selected Prescott, Arizona, for its U.S. headquarters. The site, located adjacent to the Prescott Municipal Airport, will serve as Eviation’s base of operations for its expansion from Israel into the U.S. market.
Eviation selected Prescott for the area’s skilled workforce and high-density altitude. The city is also home to the prestigious Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
The zero-emission, fully electric aircraft, named Alice, is capable of carrying up to nine passengers on a single charge for 650 miles and will be test-flown in Paris in June of 2019.
