In Gov. Doug Ducey’s recent State of the State Address, he talked about Arizona’s diverse economy. We have more manufacturing jobs than construction jobs – and we’re top 10 in transportation, science, technology and health care.
He encouraged lawmakers and elected leaders to build on the state’s growing momentum, using the term “The Arizona Way” – a continued focus on lowering barriers to work, growing jobs in rural Arizona, honoring our many veterans, maintaining fiscal responsibility, ensuring public safety, securing our water future and investing in key priorities like teachers and students, infrastructure and child safety.
