Let’s grab lunch. Want to meet up for coffee? Are you free for brunch?
I never realized how many of my days were filled with lunch meetings, coffee meetings and catching up with friends on the weekends. That is until seeing people in person was no longer an option. Now, “Let’s grab lunch” or “meet for coffee” is done via GoToMeeting or Zoom. And other things, like book clubs, medical appointments, job interviews and even prayer services are conducted online.
I look forward to seeing everyone “in real life” but for now, technology is making the world a little closer.
