In an effort to save, 1 in 3 parents would be willing to apply for a credit card to earn 5% off purchases. Low-income families are 6.5 times more likely to apply for a credit card for similar deals.

Finally, when asked which stores rank as the best when it comes to back-to-school deals, Walmart and Target were tops.
