The Arizona Women’s Hall of Fame will conclude Women’s History Month with an Induction Celebration on Thursday, April 24 at the Arizona Heritage Center (located at 1300 North College Ave.) in Tempe.
Nine remarkable women, tapped for the significant role each played in the development and quality of life in the Grand Canyon State, will be recognized at this year’s event.
This year’s Legacy Honorees are Rosa Bruce, Lillian Piñon Carillo, Dora Perry and Angela Ruíz Tewksbury. Contemporary Honorees are Myra Dinnerstein, Gabby Giffords, Socorro Hernandez-Bernasconi, Josephine Pete and Ofelia Zepeda.
