Arizona’s impending tourism season gets boost from airlines

by
Copper State of Mind

With more than 44 million visitors annually, tourism is a key economic driver in Arizona. In fact, it is our leading industry export. Starting now through about mid-May each year, Arizona is abuzz with visitors.

It’s great to see multiple airlines and airports announcing new flight options for our incoming guests in recent weeks, including American Airlines announcing a new seasonal non-stop flight to and from London, and Swoop, a subsidiary of Canadian air carrier WestJet, announcing it will begin winter service flights between Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Edmonton, Alberta, starting Oct. 27, 2018. Welcome to Arizona!
