Arizona Restaurant Association Launches Crisis Fund

The Arizona Restaurant Association, through its 501c3 Education Foundation, has formed an Emergency Fund to activate immediate funding for restaurant workers.

A $500 individual grant is available, under specific criteria, for restaurant industry service staff who have suddenly found themselves without a paycheck. The emergency funds are to assist with groceries, rent, prescriptions, children’s needs and more. To qualify, one must have been laid-off, furloughed, or otherwise terminated from a full-time hourly restaurant position after Feb. 29, 2020; been continuously employed by the same business for at least six months; and some additional criteria noted here along with the application.
