ACCEL, a private, nonprofit organization that serves children and adults who have developmental disabilities, has received a $100,000 grant from Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust to expand The BISTÅ Center into ACCEL’s Metro Campus.

The BISTÅ Center is an applied behavior analysis (ABA) agency located in Mesa, Ariz. that offers one-on-one services in clinic, home and community settings to children 18 months to 13 years old. Programs offered include kindergarten readiness, social groups for various ages and parent training classes. In addition, BISTÅ also provides assessment services, school consultation and behavior reduction support.

Construction is slated for the late summer.
