The United Soccer League Super League slated for kick-off in August 2024 recently announced a dozen markets for its inaugural season, among them a pair from the Grand Canyon State.

In a state that has female leadership already in place at the city, county, state and federal levels, we now have women’s Super League [soccer] Teams, said Jeff Arnold, club chairperson for FC Tucson who, with owner Jon Pearlman, will be at the helm of USL Super League Tucson.

Together with the USL Super League Phoenix, the pair will bring the highest level of professional women’s soccer to Arizona. Score.
