Beware of women in their 40s

My friend and I have a saying we instituted as I approached my 40th birthday last year: NPUWTSA (Not Putting Up With This S*** Anymore). Why did we make this up? Because we were (and still are) tired of feeling like we had to make concessions in order to live life the way people expected us to.

But now, in our 40s, we are doing the work, we know what we want for our lives and we’re finally confident enough to be fully who we are.

So, ladies, let’s get out there, lead with our hearts and be unapologetically ourselves.
