The Ariel “Hipercar” looks like a stunted Batmobile

by The 100 Companies

UK-based Ariel has always delighted motorheads with outlandish designs. First there was the Atom, which seemingly took cues from pocket knives and scaffolding. Then came the off-road Nomad, which appeared to be an Atom that was fed a steady diet of traffic cones.

Now, we finally get to see Ariel’s next automotive opus: a truly wicked-looking electric supercar. Dubbed the “Hipercar,” Ariel’s newest creation weighs just 2,524 pounds – a featherweight in EV world – and will do 0-60 in 2.1 seconds.

Curiously, Ariel boss Simon Saunders has barely commented on the car’s styling. To Ariel, that’s just how supercars should look.
